„You are enough“

I guess we all agree on the importance of accepting ourselves as we are, including qualities and flaws.

Thing is, I come to think that even if  reasonably self-confident in general, it is possible that life becomes overwhelming every once in a while and that in such moments the struggle of loving ourselves gets real.

After a while of reflecting, I gained the impression that the struggle consists of two or more parts, each having a quite negative tone of voice. On one hand, there is some kind of „feeling guilty“ or self-anger like „If I was better in […] (e.g. „organising“), these circumstances wouldn’t happen to me.“

On the other hand, one might even get angry about the way one reacts to the circumstances, creating even more pressure… (it’s not leading you anywhere! 😉 )

Well… if that sounds somewhat familiar for you, let me share my lesson with you.

A first message is: Stop! You are enough, just the way you are. Even if you can’t control each circumstances. Stay true to yourself.

Instead of having circumstances overwhelming us to the point of doubting ‚everything‘, maybe even suffering from physical signs, we might try to create an inner anker strong enough to realise that we can be ourselves no matter the circumstances and to deny any condition the power of making us give up that inner anker.

Well… „inner transition“ [which is more than this, but this is a part of it] has been one of my interests for a while already but since that recent experience was quite strong, I’ve set the objective to get more centered. I guess I’ll try to build some „habits“, starting with daily meditation. [Bullet journaling or so isn’t my cup of coffee somehow, at least for now] … and then discovering where it will lead me to.

If you have any suggestions or sharings about this and/or about how to really embrace circumstances [‚to dance in the rain‘] I’d be glad to know more about it.

Sorry to all those who got bored, I promise that there will also be lighter & funnier posts in future.

So my dears, embrace your awesomeness (if that word exists) and take good care of yourselves! ❤

Huggles,

Anny
